The original song titled “Aleut Lullaby” was created by Simeon “Nutchuk” Oliver, which premiered in 1949. Translation into Unangam Tunuu efforts were begun by Mary Bourdukofsky and Aquilina Lestenkof in 2007 with translation being completed by Iliodor Philemonof in 2019 and melody adaption completed by Aquilina Lestenkof shortly after.
