Aquilina recalls singing this tune in elementary school; but not with ‘bambayaax̂’ and ‘tayaĝunaax̂.’ In the 1990’s, Aquilina translated it into this version; a better fit locally, she would sing it with kids on the way to camp. In 2008, Unaaĝim Ax̂asniikangin brought it to the dance floor.
